Product Ordering and Return Policies
We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. All Personal Checks, Money Orders, and Cashier’s Checks** will be held for seven (7) business days to allow adequate time for them to clear your financial institution.
** Cashier’s Checks, Certified Checks, and Money Orders must now be held due to extensive fraud.
For products damaged in transit, please follow these steps:
- Save all of the packing material and the damaged carton or shipping container.
- Take pictures of the damaged packaging and item(s).
- Do not remove damaged merchandise from your delivery address.
- For UPS shipments, call UPS Customer Service at 1 (800) 742-5877 immediately. A representative may come to your location to inspect the package. If you are unable to contact UPS please call us for assistance.
- For USPS shipments, call 1 (800) 275-8777 immediately.
- After the inspection has been completed by a representative from the carrier, the merchandise must be returned to us along with your request for exchange, credit or refund. Indicate the type of action you wish us take and enclose a copy of your invoice, returning it to us along with the merchandise.
All drop shipments must be paid in advance. If there is a problem with a drop-shipped order, please contact the original authorized reseller for assistance.
Merchandise returns are allowed within 30 days of purchase and may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Returned merchandise will not be accepted without a return authorization number provided by one of our customer service staff. Returned shipments must use the original packaging (unless damaged in transit) and items repackaged properly. Damage to returned items due to poor packaging will be charged to the customer. Headers should be returned in original condition. Headers that are scratched, dented, painted, modified, or damaged in any way will not be accepted. All returns must be accompanied with the original proof of purchase invoice.
Any product not listed as a standard production part number, modified in any way to the customer’s specification, or considered a special ordered product will require a 100% deposit in advance. The deposit is nonrefundable, even if the order is cancelled.
Any custom, modified, special ordered product is non-returnable.
We normally use UPS for cartons of 70 lbs. or less. UPS 3-Day, 2-Day, and Next Day overnight services are available at an extra cost. Heavy freight will be shipped via truck lines. Smaller items may be shipped using the United States Postal Service (USPS).
Shipments to Canada and Overseas will utilize either UPS International services or USPS International services. Canada Standard Ground is common for Canada.
To qualify for our dealer discount, we require a copy of your business license and state resale certificate for consideration.
Exhaust System Modification Disclaimer
Due to the widely varying regulations in place regarding emission system noise levels and safety, Sanderson Headers makes no warranty of the suitability of its products. Conformance to any federal, state, municipal or other ordinance is the express responsibility of the end user. We caution the retail purchaser of our products that it is their sole responsibility to determine the suitability of any Sanderson product and that we assume no liability, expressed or implied, as to the legal consequences of exhaust system modifications, whether sold and/or installed by ourselves or other parties.
Special Provision for California Customers
It is illegal in the State of California to advertise, offer for sale or installation of any device which modifies the operation of emission control equipment, or to remove, modify or render inoperative any emission control device on regulated motor vehicles, with the exception of racing vehicles which may never be driven on the highway. Sanderson Headers are not exempt from any California Air Resources Board regulation or any California State legal code. We urge you to carefully check all statutes which may determine the suitability of our products for your application before you purchase or install them. Sanderson Headers assumes no liability for the legality of our products as installed and/or operated in the State of California.
