The CC4DP is a shorty header with a swept forward driver’s side collector to clear the steering box on 1935-40 Ford cars and trucks and 60s Ford pickups using the small block Chevrolet engine with angle plug, D-port cylinder heads.
The design of the CC4DP allows for ample steering gear clearance for both standard and Saginaw steering boxes, although this application does require an offset motor mount on the driver’s side. The CC4DP is compatible with a GM-spec angle plug and D-port heads. Shorter header spark plugs are required. (Please review the “What is a D-Port” and “Vortec-Style Heads” information tabs)
